Random scenes from the continuing icy winter. Above is our side porch with a light snow covering. This must have been early December because you can still see the tops of the houses. Okay, I am being dramatic. Barely.

Below is the disappearing sun (3:45 pm or so) on our Mt. Spokane snowshoeing adventure. It was zero degrees. Our hats are frosted from our breath, and Libby's hair is frozen as well. Fortunately, frozen hair does not snap apart...

SPD (Stolen Picture of the Day)

Bicycles can most definitely be a viable transportation alternative. Okay, this is a tricycle - but you get the point.
